We use organic hay from Val Passiria in our hay bath. Mown once every two years, as opposed to three times a year, it is grown by Walter Mossmair on the Niedersteinhof farm in San Leonardo, approx. 1,700m above sea level. Plus, the meadows remain completely organic, as they may not be fertilised with muck or treated with herbicides. This makes our organic hay stand out, as it doesn’t just contain the typical 14 grasses found in regular hay – up to 127 different kinds of grass and herb can be identified in it
